Our Story

Here's how it all began.

Mitchael spent 15 years as a metal fabricator and fence installer — digging the holes, drilling the posts, building the thing. He kept hitting the same wall: contractors you couldn't count on, and fences that made you pick two of three — affordable, durable, good-looking. Never all three.

So he stopped waiting for someone to fix it. He teamed up with Heidi — who wasn't about to let the answer be another forest turned into fence panels — and together they built ecFence: metal, so it doesn't rot, doesn't take a forest to build, and doesn't end up as landfill plastic. Affordable, durable, good-looking. All three.
